systemctl isolate

• Switch to a target (assumed .target if no extension provided):

systemctl isolate {{target}}

• Switch to graphical target explicitly:

systemctl isolate graphical.target

• Switch to rescue (single-user) mode:

systemctl isolate rescue.target

• Switch to emergency mode:

systemctl isolate emergency.target
