• Colorize diff:

diff {{[-u|--unified]}} {{path/to/file1}} {{path/to/file2}} | diff-so-fancy

• Set diff-so-fancy to colorize the output during Git's interactive staging:

git config --global interactive.diffFilter "diff-so-fancy --patch"
