# pct snapshot

- Create a snapshot:

`pct {{[sn|snapshot]}} {{100}} {{snapshot_name}}`

- Add a description to the snapshot:

`pct {{[sn|snapshot]}} {{100}} {{snapshot_name}} --description "{{description_text}}"`
